What is it like working with animals?

Working with animals is great! It is very, very rewarding as well as being lots of fun! You get to see all different types of creatures — some with hair, some with scales, others with feathers -- animals that crawl, animals that come out only at night, and beasts that weigh over 100 pounds at birth! It is very gratifying to see animals give birth, but also very sad to see them pass. Working with animals really touches the entire range of emotions.
