What
type of education is required to obtain a job working with animals?
In
most cases, zoos and animal parks look at two requirements when
hiring people: 1) college degree in animal-related field; and 2)
experience working with animals. A college degree in zoology or
wildlife biology would be an excellent start.
But
how does one get experience working with animals? You may have to
start out with domestics that's fine because you will gain
valuable insight about how to care for animals. Try to volunteer
with a vet, the humane society or a kennel. If for some reason college
is not possible, consider the topnotch training school, Moorpark
College near Los Angeles, CA.
