Recent Air Date: 7/4-5, 1998

The lakes and bays off the southeastern Alaska coastline are abundant with wildlife. On this Alaskan adventure Jack travels by float plane, boat and helicopter to get to the best vantage point for adventurous encounters with eagles, kill whales, harbor seals and otters. Jack's expedition takes him to new heights as he goes dog sledding with a team of huskies atop the Norris Glacier near Juneau. And in keeping in the true pioneer spirit, Jack pans for gold in the pristine streams of Juneau.
