After her floatplane touches down on Kulik Lake, Jack's daughter, Kathaleen,
joins him in the Katmai region of Alaska for some brown bear watching
and fly-fishing. Later, Kathaleen flies off to a remote lake where she
visits Carol Ann Woody, a noted salmon researcher. Filmed in 1999 during

boat and helicopter to get to the best vantage point for adventurous encounters

takes him to new heights as he goes dog sledding with a team of huskies
atop the Norris Glacier near Juneau. And in keeping in the true pioneer
