I am very lucky to work with one of the most experienced
wildlife film crews in the business. Since we have all been traveling
together for the past two years, we are really more like a working
family.
Filming a wildlife television program is difficult
and requires very long hours while working 7 days a week when you
are in the field. It helps that we all get along well and respect
each other's creative talents. My dads crew usually includes
his producer, Larry Elliston, who has been in the business for 30
years and has worked with my father for the past 8 years. Guy Nickerson
and Jim Curry are our cameramen. They shoot some of the best wildlife
footage you will ever see. Dan Devaney records the sound and he
has been working with my Dad for more than 10 years.
I have been working with the show for the past
2 years and I am very fortunate to work with an outstanding producer
and a multi-taleted cameraman. My producer is Lisa Lauf. Lisa has
an invaluable combination of wildlife knowledge and television creativity
that brings out the best in each story. My cameraman is Glenn Nickerson
(pictured right).
Glenns knowledge of all creatures both big
and small, helps him to anticipate behavioral patterns which means
his footage is always outstanding. Glenn also produces in the field,
records sound and edits most of the shows. I am very lucky to work
with an exceptionally creative team who are devoted to their work.
